Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Quests.Travel is a B2B travel news and intelligence publication covering destinations, tourism strategy, travel technology, airlines, hospitality, and the global travel industry. This page sets out how we produce our journalism, who is accountable for it, and how we handle errors. Questions about anything below can be sent to marketing@quests.travel.

1. Authorship

Every article published by Quests.Travel is researched and written by human members of our editorial team. We do not publish machine-generated articles. Our writers are credited by name on each piece, and the byline reflects the person responsible for the reporting and analysis.

We use software tools only in supporting, non-editorial roles — for example, to help organise research, generate concise search-engine summaries, or classify articles by topic. Such tools never write, draft, or determine the editorial substance of an article. Editorial judgement, sourcing, and the words you read are the work of our journalists.

2. Research & Sourcing Standards

Our reporting is research-based. We aim to:

  • Ground claims in primary sources — company filings, official statistics, regulatory disclosures, and named, on-the-record interviews wherever possible.
  • Link or cite the underlying data so readers can verify our analysis independently.
  • Clearly distinguish reporting from analysis and opinion.
  • Represent the positions of companies and individuals fairly, and seek comment where a story warrants it.

3. Fact-Checking

Articles are reviewed before publication for factual accuracy, the reliability of sources, and the fair characterisation of the people and organisations involved. Data points — figures, dates, valuations, and statistics — are checked against their original source prior to publication.

4. Corrections Policy

We correct errors of fact promptly and transparently. When we become aware of a material error:

  • We update the article to reflect the correct information as quickly as possible.
  • Where a correction materially changes the substance of a published fact, we add a dated correction note to the affected article explaining what was changed.
  • Minor typographical fixes that do not alter meaning may be made without a note.

To request a correction or report an inaccuracy, email marketing@quests.travel with the subject line "Correction", the article URL, and the specific point in question. We review every correction request we receive.

5. Ethics & Independence

Our editorial coverage is independent of commercial relationships. We do not allow advertisers, partners, or subjects of coverage to influence the conclusions of our reporting. Any sponsored or partner content, where it appears, is clearly labelled as such and is kept separate from our editorial journalism.

We disclose material conflicts of interest relevant to a story, and we do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage.

6. Ownership & Funding

Quests.Travel is operated from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The publication is funded through its newsletter, audience, and related business activities. For questions regarding ownership or funding, contact marketing@quests.travel.

7. Feedback & Actionable Complaints

We welcome feedback on our journalism. Readers who believe our coverage has fallen short of the standards on this page can write to marketing@quests.travel, and a member of the editorial team will respond.
